Bésame Mucho"Bésame Mucho" is a Spanish-language song written in 1940 by Mexican songwriter Consuelo Velázquez.Emilio Tuero was the first to record the song, but the Lucho Gatica version made the song famous. Pedro Infante sang the song in English in his 1951 movie A Toda Maquina. In 2007,composer and arranger and jazz trombonist Steve Wiest was nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Instrumental Arrangement for his version of Bésame Mucho .

Milonga Para as MissõesThe most well-known piece from Renato Borghetti, born July 23, 1963, a Brazilian folk musician and composer. He works in many genres including traditional styles from his home state of Rio Grande do Sul, other styles of Brazilian music like samba, and international genres like jazz and European classical music. His main instrument is the diatonic button accordion. He won a Latin Grammy in 2005 for Best Brazilian Roots/Regional Album, for his album Gaita Ponto Com.

Samba:Tico-Tico "Tico-Tico no Fubá" is the title of a renowned Brazilian choro music piece composed by Zequinha de Abreu in 1917. Its original title was Tico-Tico no Farelo, but since Brazilian guitarist Américo Jacomino Canhoto (1889–1928) had a work with the same title,Abreu's work was given its present name in 1931."Fubá" is a type of maize flour, and "tico-tico" is the name of a bird, the rufous-collared sparrow (Zonotrichia capensis). Hence, "tico-tico no fubá" means "tico-tico on the cornmeal".(From wikipedia.org)

La Comparsa Ernesto Leucona was born on August 6, 1895 in Guanabocoa, a village near Havana, Cuba. His oldest sister, Ernestina, introduces him early to the piano, an instrument which Ernesto shows astonishing talent for. From 1904 to 1907, he attends the “Conservatory of Carlos A. Peyrellade”, In 1912 he composes his first ballet, La comparsa, which marks the beginning of his most original musical pursuits.
